The Jersey Muslim is a free email newsletter about Muslim life in New Jersey. We collect as little as possible and never sell your information.

What we collect

• Email address — to send you the newsletter.
• ZIP code — to prioritize events and places near you.
• Topics you choose — to personalize each issue.
• Consent record — when you subscribed and which version of the consent text you agreed to.
• A one-way hash of your IP address — kept for up to 24 hours to prevent spam signups. We do not store your raw IP address.

How we use it

Only to send and personalize The Jersey Muslim newsletter and to keep the signup form safe from abuse. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We may use trusted service providers (for example, our database host and email delivery provider) who process data on our behalf solely to run the newsletter.

Unsubscribing

Every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Once you unsubscribe, we stop sending you email immediately. We keep a record that you unsubscribed so we honor your choice.

Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete your information entirely by replying to any newsletter.

Children

The newsletter is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we materially change this policy, we'll update the date above and let subscribers know.
